For people ready for more than slow breathing. Active, connected breath, three times, with genuine rest between. Best after a RESET, or with some experience of connected breathing already.

Arrive
Phones sealed at the door. Shoes off. Find your mat, lying down or seated, eye mask and blanket if you want them. The room is already dim and the score is already low. Let it slow you down before anything else happens.
Tonight’s breathing is more active than anything you do at a desk. So the first eight minutes do the opposite. Feel the floor take your weight. Wherever you notice holding, you do not have to fix it.
At the close, the Facilitator says one line and the room answers with another. You learn the answer here, at the start. It is the only thing you have to remember.
7:00 · The rest position is taught first
Before the first active breath comes the rest position: on your back, knees bent or flat, one hand on the belly, slow breathing in and out through the nose. Your body takes it for three breaths so it knows it. It is available to you at every moment of the night, and choosing it is a success.
8:005 minutes
Intend
A card and a pen at every mat. One honest question, and one line in answer. Written, private. No one reads it but you. The room gives you the full time and does not fill the silence.
Then the safety brief, spoken in plain words before any active breath.
11:30 · The safety brief
The brief covers what you may feel, that it passes, the rest position, touch, and confidentiality.
13:0033 minutes, in three waves
Breathe. Three waves.
Conscious connected breathing. No pause at the top, none at the bottom: one continuous circle at a moderate pace, through the mouth or the nose, whichever is honest. The score sets the pace. The Facilitator breathes with you on the microphone for the first minutes of every wave.
Each wave is about eight minutes. Between them, two minutes of real rest, with the music dropped to a calm bed. The rest is part of the design, never a gap in it.
An opt-down cue is spoken at the start of every wave and again near its middle. Every cue is permission. The rest position is yours at any moment, and taking it is a success.
13:00 to 21:008 minutes
Wave one
The circle begins. The pulse of the score rises from walking pace. You are staying in the circle and chasing nothing.
21:00 to 23:002 minutes
Recovery 1. Sensation.
A gentle hold at the top, then everything goes. The music drops. Breathe however your body wants to.
Notice sensation. Warmth, tingling, weight, the floor. Nothing to name, nothing to fix. Just notice it, then let it go.
23:00 to 31:008 minutes
Wave two
Back into the circle when you are ready. The same breath, with a little more life in it if it is there. The second build is fuller than the first.
Encouragement is sparse and it is all permission. Staying with it and resting are both the practice.
31:00 to 33:002 minutes
Recovery 2. Emotion.
The breath goes soft.
This time, notice emotion, if there is any. It may have a name. It may not. Emotion rising is normal and it passes. Nothing needs to be done about it.
33:00 to 41:008 minutes
Wave three
The fullest wave. Fullest means most honest, never hardest. Your version of this breath is the right version.
The score reaches its widest point here, and the light its brightest.
41:00 to 46:005 minutes
Recovery 3. Pattern, then the descent.
The last breath in, held softly, then all the way out. Done. Notice whether anything kept returning tonight. A thought. A memory. A pattern. Noticing is enough.
Then the exhale lengthens: in through the nose, out for longer, for three minutes, while the score descends to ambient. The long exhale is the way down.
46:0012 minutes
Integrate. Twelve minutes.
Here, the breath is the halfway point. Integration is the longest phase after it, protected in the run-of-show, and it is never cut short.
46:00
Silence, two minutes
Nothing is said. The silence is engineered, and it is the first thing that happens after the breath.
48:00
Journal, six minutes
Light rises to a level you can write by. Come up to sitting, take your card. Write what is actually here. What did you notice, what surprised you, what kept returning.
54:00
Share, four minutes
Four layers, always announced: private, paired, circle, community. Tonight the invitation is private or paired. Reread what you wrote, or offer one word or one sentence to one person near you. You choose. No one is ever called on.
58:005 minutes
Embody
One last line on your card. One action, one conversation, one boundary, or one decision. Small and real over big and vague. That line is the one thing you carry out of the room.
Then the closing ritual, the same words every time. The Facilitator says the first line. The room answers with the one it learned at the door. Lights rise on the last.
The breath is only the beginning.
63:00 · Return. Water in the lobby. Move slowly, and give yourself ten minutes before driving. A sixty-second card at the door shapes what we build next.

What you may feel
Active breathing changes the body for a while. During the waves you may notice any of these:
- tingling
- temperature changes
- tightness in the hands
- lightheadedness
- emotion rising
These are common, they are expected, and they pass. The rest position is always available. The Facilitator and a support person are in the room the whole time.
Who should choose RESET instead
- If this is your first Experience with us. RESET is the softest door in, and it is the right first door.
- If you would rather stay in slow breathing tonight.
- If a question on the wellbeing form gives you pause. The form is there to route you, and RESET is open to everyone.
- If you are here mostly to rest.
18+, a short wellbeing form confirms your seat
RELEASE is for adults 18 and over. After you reserve, a short wellbeing form confirms your seat. Some answers route you to RESET, or ask you to check with your physician first. A signed consent form is completed before your first RELEASE.
It takes a few minutes. It is how we hold the room.
How we hold the room
- Screening, explained as care.
- The rest position, taught before the first active breath.
- A support person in the room at every RELEASE.
- No touch without consent given that night.
- What is shared in the room stays in the room.
- A referral list on hand.
Facilitator named on each session.
